Should I double 10 against a 10?

No. Hit a hard 10 when the dealer shows a 10.

These answers are for a 6 deck game where the dealer stands on soft 17, blackjack pays 3 to 2, and you can double on any two cards, including after a split.

Why

Your 10 and the dealer 10 start on equal terms. Doubling would put twice the money on a hand that only gets one card, against a dealer who is just as strong.

Hitting keeps the bet where it is and lets you take more than one card if you need it.
