Should I stand on 12 against 4 to 6?

Stand. With a hard 12, stay where you are when the dealer shows 4 to 6.

These answers are for a 6 deck game where the dealer stands on soft 17, blackjack pays 3 to 2, and you can double on any two cards, including after a split.

Why

With 4 to 6 showing, the dealer starts from a weak card and has to keep drawing until 17 or more. Many of those hands bust.

Your 12 busts on any card from 10 up, which is four ranks out of thirteen. Standing lets the dealer take that risk instead of you.
