Splitting pairs
Should I split Aces?
Yes. Split them against every dealer card.
These answers are for a 6 deck game where the dealer stands on soft 17, blackjack pays 3 to 2, and you can double on any two cards, including after a split.
Why
Two Aces count as 2 or 12, which is a weak hand. Split them and each Ace starts a new hand as 11.
Each split Ace receives one card and stops. That is still far better than playing a soft 12, so split Aces against every dealer card.
